Brendan Tunink is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Oregon, IL who attends Newman Central Catholic. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build with some present strength, additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 6.97 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, athletic actions in movements on the approach, agile with quickness, fields the ball to side and works into a three-quarters release, sound footwork, long and loose arm with accurate throws out of hand, low carry to the intended base. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance in the box, gets wide moving into contact . Employs a middle of the field approach, shows strength off of the barrel when squared and creates natural separation and loft in swing path. Simple approach with intent and looks to impact the ball with each swing, nice tools to improve upon moving forward. Excellent student. Named to Midwest Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
