Carson Kensinger is a 2024 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Duncansville, PA who attends Hollidaysburg Area. Medium, athletic build with some present strength throughout his frame. 7.35-second sixty time. Primary left-handed pitcher, compact delivery working at a controlled tempo. Comes from an over-the-top arm slot, tunneling his three-pitch mix well. Fastball ranged 79-81 mph through his two innings, working it on both sides of the plate well. More velocity left in the tank as he continue to add muscle. Maintained arm speed on his change up that displayed good fading action, away from right-handed hitters. Curveball flashed 12-6 shaped break with depth, showing some feel for the pitch. Secondary outfielder, athletic approach to the ball, fielding off his front with clean, smooth actions. Accurate, online throws to the plate with present arm strength as he carries his momentum through, up to 85 mph. Left-handed hitter, sets up with a narrow, slightly open stance with a high-hand set. Uses a hover, leg-lift-trigger with a rotational lower half. Lofted stroke with middle-of-the-field impact when on time getting his foot down. Flashes of pull side power throughout his round. Good student. Named to Western Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
