2022 14U National Showcase
Andrew Salas is a 2026 SS with a 6-1 140 lb. frame from Caracas, DF who attends Home School. Long athletic frame with great projection. Ran a 7.36 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, very clean athletic and polished mover on the dirt, excellent balance and body control with extra soft hands and a clean funnel, transfers very well and already showing easy arm strength up to 85 across. Switch-hitter with good feel for both sides. A little more to like on the left side at present, moves in well with quick hands and good looseness, short to the ball and found the barrel a bunch with lift to the path. A little less bat speed on the right, under control with comfort getting out front and spraying liners. Very comfortable all-around in game action. Named to 2022 14u Perfect Game Select Festival.

Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
