Aaron Gutierrez is a 2023 RHP/C, 1B, 3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Mesquite, NM who attends Centennial. Medium frame with lanky build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.73 seconds. Primary pitcher, arm works well, hides it to high 3/4 slot, fastball worked 72-76 mph with good strikes and some cut, showed curveball with depth and some CH feel as well. Hits from even-based stance with high back elbow, has strength through the middle, single plane for the most part, whole-field approach. Worked out in the infield, plays back and throws flat-footed, clocked up to 69 mph across. Good student.
