Orlando Young is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Federal Way, WA who attends Federal Way Senior. Features a strong, sturdy, athletic, durable frame. Three-pitch mix that includes fastball, curveball and changeup. A strike thrower with the ability land his secondaries with consistently while throwing out of a three quarter slot. Curveball has eleven five shape and stayed sharp. Had a large amount of swing and misses in his outing. Can locate all-three pitches with efficiency. Has a full hip turn into a drop and drive delivery and hides the ball well. Showed proper technique on the infield with a clean glove and quick transfer. Mixed up the slow when needed while staying accurate and flashing present arm strength across the diamond. Medium base at the plate with a high back elbow while taking a short stride into the swing. Stays fairly compact with strong hands and ability to use the whole field while staying on the barrel and producing a bunch of loud line drives. Ran a 4.87 Forty-Yard Dash. Named to the 2024 Northwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List. Good Student.
