2024 Jr. National Showcase
Jack Ryan is a 2026 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends St. Xavier High School. Primary right-handed pitcher with big frame, square shoulders and solid frame. Staggered feet set windup working from the first base side of the rubber. High hands start with a side step to a chest-high tucked lift. Shorter takeaway with a quick arm to a 3/4 slot release down the slope. Arm side run on the fastball up to 87 mph (2197 RPM) with sink and boring action to right-handed hitters when timing at separation is in sync and he gets over the front side to extension. Hard breaking ball in the 78-mph range (2371 RPM) with depth and late action through the zone. High effort delivery with confident arm stroke down the slope attacking hitters in the strike zone with both pitches. Secondary first baseman recorded a 7.36 second 60-yard dash time. Two-hand funnel deep gather with solid footwork around the bag and fundamental actions. Accurate throws across the diamond at 87 mph and on the turn. Left-handed hitter with a wide base and slight open stance in the box. Strength in the frame with pull side approach and impact out front. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
