Deshon Middleton is a 2024 2B/RHP/C with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Cedar Hill, TX who attends Cedar Hill. Lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a high hand load, has fast hands and creates nice raw bat speed, can get too downhill at times in his approach but does create some back spin on occasional, projects well as a hitter as he gets stronger. 6.96 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has athletic actions and can make plays on the run, shows good side to side range, quick transition from glove to hand throwing, plenty of arm for second base. Also pitched, has a loose delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot that gets downhill well, some energy at release, tends to fall off to the first base side and lose direction. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, also threw a curveball that had some spin and shape when he was able to land it. Good student.
