Eli Pantzlaff is a 2023 1B/RHP with a 5-11 225 lb. frame from Waukesha, WI who attends Waukesha West. Larger physical build. Right handed hitter, has a simple and repeatable swing, starts open and closes well, stays short to the ball, has some hand quickness and good barrel control, high contact swing that he executes well. 8.37 runner in the sixty. Has sound defensive actions around the first base bag, good footwork and stays balanced well while fielding out front, makes accurate throws from multiple arm slots. Also pitched, high leg raise delivery with good balance over the rubber, hides the ball well in back. Threw lots of strikes with a fastball that topped out at 71 mph, has been up to 77 mph in the past at PG events. Will keep improving with continued work on his athleticism, has good skills. Very good student.
