Cooper Richardson is a 2025 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Southaven, MS who attends DeSoto Central. Medium build with good present strength. Primary right handed pitcher, high hand delivery with a pause at the top, works down the hill well and has good control of his delivery. Fastball topped out at 79 mph from a 3/4's slot, throws strikes with his fastball and works ahead. Threw a short slider from a 3/4's slot but his best breaking ball was a near side arm curveball that had good sweeping depth. Also mixed in a change up and mixed up his pitches well. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a high hand start and a back tap load, gets to his front side well, showed an accurate barrel and made consistent square contact in the games. 7.69 runner in the sixty. Plays first base when not on the mound, has good footwork there and makes accurate throws. Good baseball skills overall and performs. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
