Ethan Edwards is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from North Charleston, SC who attends Fort Dorchester. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a big leg lift trigger and low hand set up, has quick hands and hips and creates some bat speed, can turn the barrel over, pull to mid field line drive contact, projects well as a hitter with additional strength as he has a sound swing approach. 7.20 runner in the sixty. Moved to the ball well in the outfield and showed his athleticism, has a short and quick arm action and gets rid of the ball quickly. Also pitched, slow paced delivery with a compact tight 3/4's arm action. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 76 mph, has been up as high as 82 mph off the mound previously at PG events. Gets on top of his curveball well at times but still developing consistency. Good all around athlete who will keep improving as he gets stronger. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
