2021 Memphis Prospect Showcase
Brock Ware is a 2023 C/RHP/1B with a 6-1 178 lb. frame from Batesville, MS who attends South Panola. Tall athletic build with some present strength and room for more. 7.57 runner in the sixty. Played both infield and catcher and showed good athleticism at both positions. Blocks well behind the plate with good lower half quickness, can further develop his glove skills receiving balls across his body, showed some carry on his throws with good accuracy. Plenty of athleticism for third base, footwork was solid in the infield, stays balanced well and can throw from multiple arm slows with body control. Right handed hitter, hits from an open upright stance with a tight hand load, front side hitter who would benefit from staying back a bit, flashed some pull side juice when he attacked balls and got some separation out front. Very good student.
