Javion Gray is a 2026 3B/RHP, 2B, SS, OF with a 6-1 142 lb. frame from Harper Woods, MI who attends University Liggett. Primary third baseman with an athletic build. Showed good footwork and good ability to move laterally. Worked around the ball well with a clean gather and funnel to chest with a quick release. Could get to the ball well and make timely throws with strength and accuracy behind them. Was up to 81 from across the diamond. Showed cleaner glove work actions and a quick arm with cleaner arm action. Also ran a 7.52 sixty. Also pitched throwing from a high 3/4 slot with some whip in the arm. Has a short and compact release with shorter arm action. Sidesteps into a leg lift above the belt and extends down the slope nicely allowing his velocity to play up. Fastball showed good running life to it and got up to 79 while playing up. Went to a curve with 11/5 shape and good depth to it that he could induce whiffs with. Flashed a change as well as a mix of speeds. Located well throughout his outing and showed good feel to pitch in general. Right-handed hitter with a wider base and high handset. Elbow starts tucked. Has a quick weight shift in the backside and turns hard at the top half of things. Good bat speed with strength in the hands. Could impact it well back up the middle and showed good feel for the barrel overall. Hit in game as well. Good student. Named to the TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
