Justyn Hart is a 2024 LHP/1B with a 6-2 226 lb. frame from Frankfort, IL who attends Marian Catholic. Big physical build. Works from the stretch with a big leg raise and hip coil start, comes out of it well and gets on line to the plate, high 3/4's arm slot that creates good angle with his fastball. Fastball worked in the upper 80's and topped out at 90 mph, threw his fastball to spots and challenged in the zone. Short breaking two-plane slider is an effective pitch, gets a bit lower on his release point occasionally on the pitch to create more horizontal life. Change up was a solid third offering. Showed command and pitchability and got quick outs. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Missouri.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
