Levi Gingerich is a 2023 RHP/IF/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Cary, NC who attends Green Level. Large, well-built frame with present muscularity and strength. Ran a 7.26 in the 60 yard dash. Primary position RHP, using a deliberate pace with very controlled mechanics. Creates good front side direction and stay in line well. Featured a three pitch mix, with a FB peaking at 84 mph, complimented with a CH showing arm-side run and a CB with nice depth and sharpness. Operating out of a three-quarters angle, he filled up the zone with aggression. Also worked out in the OF, moving methodically through the ball and cutting loose accurate throws at 84 mph and took reps at 3B, displaying a quick release and solid feel for the glove. Left-handed hitter, that uses a strong balanced stance and creates excellent rotation out of his strong lower-half. Pull oriented approach with strength at contact, displaying loft and power when on time. Extraordinary student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
