2024 National Academic Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Bridger Thomas is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Beach City, TX who attends Barbers Hill. Strong athletic build with some length to him. High leg lift into his wind up, compact arm action in back leading to a high 3/4's arm slot, has good arm speed and extension out front. Fastball sat in the mid-80's with good command to the glove side, fastball got on hitters effectively. Curveball was a solid second pitch with good spin and tight downer shape, was able to throw his curveball at any count for strikes. Flashed a change up with fade. Starter profile with good command and three promising pitches. Excellent student. Named to the National Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
