Lane Schrader is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Columbus, IN who attends Columbus North. Lean high waisted build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.63 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm slot, worked from the stretch only. The fastball sat 76-80 mph with arm side run and slight sink. Mixed in a slider that sat 68 mph with good horizontal sweeping actions. Worked out in the infield, displayed stiff hands working through the ball, still developing infield actions. Will continue to get better as he gets older. Was clocked up to 78 mph on throws across the diamond. At the plate, switch hitter, from the left side hits from a wide slightly open stance with a big leg kick. From the right side, hits from a wide even base with a deep leg lift. From both side made soft contact flashing potential strength. The strength will develop as he matures.
