Jack Detienne is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Verona, WI who attends Verona Area. Ran a 7.44 second sixty. Primary short stop with a long athletic build that projects well moving forward. Showed good action with the hands on the back hand working through the ball and getting it out of the glove quickly. Got rid of the ball on time with some projectable carry on the ball while making accurate throws across the diamond. Showed some better arm speed on the mound with a long loose rm action working long through the back up to a high three-quarters arm slot. Gets into the left early as he gets to the top of the leg lift before working with good direction to the plate in the lower half. Fastball sat 82-85 mph working it well to the arm side of the plate. Flashed a curveball at 72 mph with solid traits to build on moving forward. Right-handed hitter, showed the ability to create leverage at the point of contact with developing bat speed. Does a nice job of repeating the swing and using the middle of the field with some barrel accuracy. Good student. Named to the Midwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
