2025 PG Midwest Indoor Showcase
Clayton Kroschel is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Beaver Dam, WI who attends Wayland Academy. A medium and athletic frame. Has some twitch and projects really well moving forward. Ran a 6.89 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who works well on the approach with aggressive feet and a good feel to work through release well. He had a longer arm action working through it. He was athletic with the footwork and aggressive to it and through it. The arm had a good whip to it with feel to be on-time at release. Had good carry on throws at 90 mph with plenty of strength behind it. A really good round of throws from the outfielder. Took BP as a right-handed hitter with an athletic setup, flexed knees, lower hands, and a deep move working through his load. He had a medium trigger with lower set hands and tons of whip working through release. He had plenty of intent to his actions with good bat speed and feel to be on the barrel. He stayed shorter to it and was able to keep the barrel behind the baseball well with a simple trigger and feel to impact it well. Mostly worked back through the middle of the field and showed some length through the swing. Quality round of BP swings with good strength and bat speed. Produced an 87 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who works from the wind-up with a sidestep into the delivery with a leg lift up at the belt. He worked downhill with a medium three-quarters slot with a ton of arm speed working through it. Fast arm with a longer arm action through the back. He had good arm speed and was able to show a fastball working 83-85 mph, spinning above 2,100 RPMs. He also showed a ton of run to the pitch. He was able to miss some bats with the fastball. Also showed a slider in the mid-70s with spin above 2,100 RPMs with good 10-4 depth. Good feel to snap off the slider and miss bats. Very uptempo actions with a really good operation top-to-bottom. Good student. Named to 2025 Midwest Indoor TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
