Bennett Burke is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 5-10 198 lb. frame from Sparta, WI who attends IMG Academy. Strong compact build with present strength, proportional frame and levers. Ran a 6.97 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, stretch only operation from the first base side of the rubber, slightly offset feet, leg lift above the belt, coils into back hip at apex of the lift, three-quarters slot, uses a slide step with runners on, attacks the zone east to west, longer off-line arm action, can add and subtract on the curveball nicely, lands it for strikes, mixed in both two and four seamers, some quality to the change up as well, quicker tempo operation, really settled in after the first inning as well, good mix and attacked the zone, five strikeouts in three innings during game action. Secondary outfielder, aggressive charge, accurate around the solid actions, clean feet, has an idea in the outfield grass. Left-handed hitter, medium base, open feet, high hands, high back elbow, parts work, functional swing, clean and connected, torques hard and gets into his legs well, lot of pull-side contact, line drive driven swing. Solid player overall with a good skillset across the board. Named to the 2024 Sunshine East Top Prospect List.
