2024 National Showcase
Gabe Boyd is a 2025 SS/OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Memphis, TN who attends Christian Brothers. Big physical build with lots of present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance, has fast hands and big strength out front, big power to the middle of the field, very loud off the barrel, busy hand load can leave him late and will over swing at times but high ceiling power projection here. 6.83 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense who is likely to end up at third base in the near to medium future, has good glove actions and makes throws from multiple slots, hand quickness is a plus. Good student, verbal commitment to Mississippi State.
