Freddie Nolen IV is a 2023 C/RHP/3B/OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Fossil Ridge. Really impressive showing from a high quality athlete. Defensively, the action behind the dish were ultra advanced with crisp receiving abiltiy and quick fundamentally sound footwork. The exchanges were crisp into strong accurate throws down to the bases. He gunned down a couple would be base stealers throughout in game action. In the infield, he works comfortably laterally with rhtyhm between feet and glove. The arm strength plays at any position. In the outfield, he displays soft hands with carrying throws that were accurate to the bases. At the plate, he lit it up ll weekend throughout ingame at-bats. He sets up with medium base that works into a hearty striding load. The approach works middle to pull with serious thump. The strength is super apparent at impact. Really good stuff from a uncommited senior. On the mound, he operates with smooth mechanics and three-quarters slot. He lands slightly open and employs plenty of arm side life that explodes through the glove. He demonstrated high quality command of the fastball to match with a parachute changeup that displayed late fade. The breaking ball showed 11-5 bordering 12-6 shape and induced whiffs in bunches. Solid outing. 7.06 60-yard. 1.93 pop time. Great student. Selected to the Top Prospect list.
