Sam Stem is a 2022 OF/1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Erie, CO who attends Erie. Athletic, physical build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.93 seconds. Primary outfielder whose top throw from the outfield grass clocked in at 81 mph. The majority of his throws were on target and accurate as well. At the plate he hits out of a spread out, square stance with a high back elbow setup. Showcased solid bat speed to go along with some loft in the bat path that is conducive to elevating with authority. On the mound, he works out of the stretch. His FB sat 74-77 mph and his other pitch, a SL had late and sharp tilting action. Great student.
