Cole Patterson is a 2023 OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Winchendon, MA who attends Murdock. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a high back elbow load with some lower half coil to start his swing, tends to stay on his backside through his swing, has a short inside swing path and attacks the ball aggressively with contact to all fields, key to his development as a hitter will simply be to get stronger. 7.26 runner in the sixty, was very aggressive on the bases using his speed. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the ball with a short crow hop into his throws, developing arm strength that will improve with additional physical strength. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
