David Bernstine III is a 2026 SS/2B/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Vallejo, CA who attends Vallejo. Medium athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. 7.41 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, works low to the grounds and presents his glove well, compact arm action with nice carry to his throws, good overall fundamentals and athletic actions. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a hanging leg lift load and deep hands to start his swing, uphill swing plane with plenty of lift and extension out front, has quick hands and some developing bat speed, power approach at present. Projects well in all areas. Good student.
