Gabe Howard is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from West Linn, OR who attends West Linn. Nice athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Low effort rotational delivery, lots of upper half turn, 3/4's arm slot, will throw in hesitations to create deception. Worked in the mid-80's with his fastball, looked to work two-seam/four-seam on his fastball, occasionally got hard diving life at lower velocity, topped out at 87 mph on his four-seamer. Threw a mid-70's slurve-type breaking ball as his primary secondary pitch, landed it well. Change up had some fading life. Mixed his pitches aggressively and tunneled them well. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow and open start with a big move into contact, swings hard and looks to impact the ball. Showed his arm strength in the outfield during workouts. Good student, verbal commitment to Oregon.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
