Carson Crider is a 2026 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Wake Forest, NC who attends Wake Forest. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and lean athletic build that only pitched during the event. Staggered feet start with high hands working from the third base side of the rubber. Standard side step delivery with belt-high lift and high hands throughout. Lands slightly closed with medium arm swing to a lower 3/4 slot down the slope. Arm side run on the fastball up to 88 mph (2127 RPM). Curveball with slurve action to both sides of the plate around 73 mph (2248 RPM). Loose arm action with whip to the arm at release when he gets over his front side and works downhill. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Iowa.
