Brennan Neal is a 2027 OF/RHP/SS with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Columbus, GA who attends Brookstone. Tall and lean young athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining, has a high waist and long arms/legs. Outstanding runner, 6.53 in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the ball aggressively with a quick first step, still developing his footwork and feel for his glove positioning, long and loose arm action with nice arm strength and one hop carry. Also worked out in the infield, moves athletically and has good arm strength, works downhill through the ball, has he athleticism to play in the middle infield but needs more repetitions. Right handed hitter, starts from a spread stance with a late hand takeaway from a tight hand start, pretty timing intensive swing, turns his hips hard and quick, impacts the ball hard when on time and showed power potential. Also pitched and has two-way potential, works from a simple rocker step delivery with and long and loose whippy arm action. Fastball was in the upper 80's and topped out at 90 mph. Showed good feel for his secondary pitches, curveball was in the mid-70's with some depth and shape, change up was a quality pitch with arm speed and big late sinking action. Very projectable athlete who will be fun to continue to watch develop, has really improved over the past year. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
