Trent Vilade is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 5-9 167 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Prestonwood Christian Academy. He has a medium frame with a thick build and a high waist. Ran the sixty yard dash in 9.43 seconds. Primary pitcher that has simple mechanics and repeats his motion consistently. He has a compact arm action and throws from a tight, high 3/4 arm slot. He is able to generate arm side run with his fastball. His fastball also his nice life up in the zone, creating several swings and misses throughout his outing. His secondary offering is an advanced curveball that he tunneled off his fastball well and features true curveball shape. Secondary first baseman that has good footwork and a smooth glove. He is able to get the ball out quickly and on target thanks to his quick hands in the transfer process. Offensively, he has a slightly open start with high hands and a low back elbow. He does a nice job of firing his hips during the swing, generating power with his lower half. He has a short swing and a pull side approach.
