2022 Great Lakes Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Kaden Jominy is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Kalamazoo, MI who attends Mattawan. He has a good frame for his age with a slender build and plenty of room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.17 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher that uses a belt high leg kick and does a nice job of staying on balance throughout his motion. He uses dip-and-drive back leg mechanics and works down the mound and in line with the plate well. He has a medium arm action and fires from a 3/4 slot with a quick arm. His fastball has late sinking action and he used it to go after hitters. His curveball has 11-5 shape with sharp break and plenty of depth. He showed advanced feel for his off speed pitch for his age. Secondary outfielder that works to, and through, the ball well. He showed similar arm strength here that he did on the mound. Consistently made accurate throws to the target. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even base that is slightly open with even hands and a high back elbow. He uses a toe tap trigger for timing. He showed good barrel control and uses a gap-to-gap approach. He has quick hands through the zone and looks to hit line drives. Named to the Great Lakes Indoor Showcase (Sunday) Top Prospect List. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
