Mason Pickering is a 2025 C/UT with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Muskogee, OK who attends Hilldale. Posted a 7.83 in the 60 yard dash. Primary C, has a staggered start and shows a compact arm action. Physically has time to develop and add athleticism to his tools as he progresses behind the dish. Playable transfer and release with footwork to engage in his actions. Showed good versatility in the field, in the infield he was fluid to both sides with projectable arm strength. In the outfield he moves well with a soft gather and light footwork, limited quick movements for now but the arm transfers clean here. Right-handed hitter, open narrow start and loads the hands deep. The swing has some compact pop in it with good hands when he launches on time. Has a heavy barrel that gets across and worked the whole field with promising strength. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
