Luke Roupe is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from Little River, SC who attends North Myrtle Beach High. Big and strong build. High leg raise delivery with a high front side coming down the mound, has some deception in his mechanics, high 3/4's to over the top release point. Fastball topped out at 93 mph and sat around 90 mph, gets up to 19' of IVB on the fastball and created some swing/miss on the fastball. Breaking ball was a big sweeping soft slider, up to 16' of depth, hitters didn't recognize the spin and made some bad passes at the ball. Killed the spin on his change up well. Three pitch starter profile with solid command and good pitch traits across the board. Very good student, verbal commitment to South Carolina.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
