Gabe Malaret is a 2025 3B/RHP, OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Boston, MA who attends Catholic Memorial. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.87 seconds. Hits from wider start and strides closed, very loose hands with whippy barrel, generates deep barrel speed and ball comes off well, middle field approach with easy power projection, big young hitting tools. Worked out in the infield, developing feel for footwork and timing, tends to wait back on the ball, clocked up to 80 mph on throws across. Pitched as well, worked only with fastballs, high 3/4 slot with good life, fastball worked 78-83 mph. Very good student, named to 2021 Main Event Top Prospect List.
