Mason Blasche is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Hoover, AL who attends Hoover. Super athletic, tall and lean frame with good present strength and more to come. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.01 seconds. Primary RHP, working from an offset start to a medium leg lift loading with a slight inward turn over the rubber. Easy rhythm and overall operation. Inline, compact arm path leading to a classic 3/4 arm angle as he creates excellent separation at foot strike. FB sitting mid-to-upper 80's with effortless life and hop in the zone in the 2,200's spin wise. SL showed varying shape but when he got extended it showed swing and miss shape with high level spin traits. CH is an emerging pitch action wise but has good speed deferential. Handled the glove exceptionally in the field especially in game action. All the components here to envision him being a quality two-way prospect. RHH using a wide setup, good handset just below the shoulders and a small toe tap trigger. Quick, strong hands with pull side loft and low liners oppo. Went off in game, consistently on the barrel, collecting multiple extra-base hits. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
