Kage Bossman is a 2023 SS/RHP, C, 2B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends Newnan. Medium frame with a young, lean build showing room to fill out. Ran a 7.85 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, quick first step as he proved to have lateral range. Works into the baseball under control and is fundamentally sound in his actions. Gathers out front and then carries weight well into transfer and release. Accurate around the bag as he threw it 74 mph. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step to a higher lift as he turns at the top a bit. Drops and drives as he stays fluid in his actions. Releasing downhill from a higher slot as he filled up the zone. Fastball up to 78 mph & mixed in a slurvy breaking ball in the mid-60's. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced before working into separation. Strides into a balanced position. Smooth cuts as he looks to lift the baseball at times. Will generate more power down the road as he fills out the frame. Feel for the barrel showing and proved he could match plane. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
