Brian Stone is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Calhoun. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lots of physical projection with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.58 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front, looks to work behind it and utilizes a short crow hop into release, tight arm action through the backside, extra step into release, works over front side, arm strength will continue to develop. Also pitched, full windup on the mound, gets down the slope well, occasionally mistimed with operation, worked to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, worked around the zone and pitched to contact, mixed a curveball at 62 mph which will continue to develop with added reps. Right-handed hitter, begins with a tall and upright stance with a high hand set; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Short shift through lower half and simple mechanics throughout, best contact when getting extended out front and generating carry off of the barrel; shows looseness and bat speed through the zone, best to the ball to pull side gap, can get more shift through lower half moving into contact.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
