Ethan Clauss is a 2025 SS/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Palo Verde. Longer athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a high hand load, has fast hands and gets the barrel out front consistently, works gap to gap with hard line drive contact, more a line drive approach at present with the bat speed and projectable strength to project future power. Primary shortstop on defense, is light on his feet and shows good quickness and range, confident glove actions at the ball and fields everything cleanly, playable arm strength. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
