Thomas Ferroggiaro is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Wilsonville, OR who attends Central Catholic. Recorded a 7.22 second 60 yard dash time. Medium frame with a well-proportioned, athletic build. Primary shortstop with great feel for the glove and smooth hands. Everything syncs up well, moves well laterally with fluid actions and has impressive range. Fields the ball cleanly and has a quick first step with natural instincts for the position. Great showing during the workouts and followed it up by making a fantastic diving play during the game. Switch-hitter with a narrow and square stance, utilizes a simple leg lift trigger. Has plenty of bat speed present with loft to the bat path while staying compact in his operation. Showed a gap to gap approach and quickness in the hands, produced loud contact to all parts of the field in BP and in live at bats. Impressive showing overall, rising prospect with advanced skills and feel for the game. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 Sunshine Midwest Showcase Top Prospect List.
