Jeryel Oquendo is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Toa Baja, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Recorded a 7.49 second 60-yard dash time. Slender build with a lean frame and lots of room to fill out. Primary shortstop with very good hands and quality athleticism at the position. Moves well and rounds the ball nicely. Very twitchy and under control with solid footwork and a good arm with throws up to 84 mph. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and an open stance. Inside path to contact with an upper half dominant swing. Moving parts but has looseness to his hands with feel for bat to ball contact. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
