Easton Shelton is a 2023 1B/3B with a 6-5 225 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Bishop Gorman. Extra tall and strong frame with obvious physicality in everything he does. Ran a 7.30 in the sixty yard dash. A primary first baseman, stays under control with a balanced base. Turns well and can drop slot with accuracy. Nose down when it comes to picks in the dirt. A secondary infielder, works to the ball and squares it up. Presents the glove late and the hands showed some softness. Drops the slot when needed and seems confident in the footwork and approach. A right-handed hitter, starts open and balanced with the stance. Really strong hands and works the barrel out well to create loud contact to the pull side. Looks to pull and does so with authority. Big power potential. Doubled down the left field line during game play. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
