Miguel Herb is a 2024 C/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Bear, DE who attends Caravel Academy. Recorded a 7.35-second sixty-yard time. Medium, athletic build with some present strength throughout his frame. Strong defensive actions behind the plate, low, side-saddle set up. Quick feet as he replaces and gains some ground to his targets. High transfer, recording a best pop time of 2.00-seconds. Present arm strength, up to 76 mph from behind the plate with accurate throws. Also too some reps in the outfield, aggressive approach to the ball with deliberate footwork. Plays through the ball well, getting on top of the ball, remaining on line to the bases. Up to 82 mph with more velocity to be added as he matures physically. Left-handed hitter, even stance with a wide bade and a high-hand set. Quick, compact stroke with present power to the pull side, producing some well-struck back spun line drives during his round. Present quickness to his hands with tons of bat speed for his age. Flashed the ability to lift the ball to the side while also peppering line drive to the gaps, showcasing good barrel control. Tremendous student. Named to 2021 Fall East Coast Top Prospect List.
