Seth Lyons is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 6-0 186 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Desert Oasis. Strong athletic build. Left handed hitter, hits from a coiled high hand load from a narrow base, mechanical swing that made it hard for him to tap into his strength, soft line drive contact. Primary outfielder on defense, takes direct routes to balls and has soft hands fielding, makes soft accurate throws. Also pitched, worked from the stretch with a high leg raise start, long arm circle with a high 3/4's arm slot. Low 80's fastball topped out at 83 mph with some arm side life. Flashed some depth on a 1/7 curveball, also throws a developing change up. Good student, verbal commitment to UC Santa Barbara.
