Tanner Reid is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Bishop Moore. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.16 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, shows a good internal clock as he works to the baseball, takes short strides to it and shows softness to the hands while getting rid of it well with a good arm across. Also pitched, has a quick and fluid delivery with some arm talent as he releases from a quick arm through a three-quarters slot getting good extension and generating good running life to the fastball. Also showed good feel for a quality vertical breaking ball that he can land with ease as well as a changeup with some tumble at the zone. Righthanded hitter, works short and quick to contact with good strength in the hands, can get cut off at times but strength plays for the age and can create hard impact the other way when squared. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
