Tyler Kelson is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-0 158 lb. frame from Duluth, GA who attends Peachtree Ridge. Recorded a 7.06 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a medium frame and slender young build. Accurate throws from the outfield at 80 mph from an over-the-top throwing slot. Solid one-hand gather and exchange when feet are lined up with carry on his throws. Secondary right-handed pitcher with same quick short arm over-the-top throwing motion as in the outfield. Direct to the plate with athletic delivery from the third base side of the rubber. Fastball velocity plays up with quick arm and slot at 77 mph. Curveball in mid-60s with changeup around 70 mph as secondary offerings. Right-handed hitter with a square base and high back elbow slot. Wide stance with a toe tap trigger and load to the backside during stride. Linear bat path through the zone with middle field approach. Projectable frame for more impact through maturation. Excellent Student. Named to the National Underclass Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
