Travis Friend is a 2025 OF/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Whittier, CA who attends Crean Lutheran. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7,00 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, smooth and fluid actions moving towards the ball with sound body control, accelerates well into throws and shows sound fundamentals, quick release with accuracy on throws and present carry to the intended base, repeats well. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set at the plate. Swings with intent and shows quickness to hands, short load with tight turns in swing. Squared up contact to his pull side with line drive contact off of the barrel, gets it out front and repeats, flashes nice strength/carry to pull side when squared. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
