Tyler Arnold is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Rancho Bernardo. Big strong build, looks bigger than listed. Works from a full delivery on the mound, sound mechanics that he repeats well. Fastball worked in the low 80's and up to 84 mph, works his fastball to the corners with some run and sink. Has a nice firm curveball with good spin and depth, uses his curveball extensively against right handed hitters. Features a sinking change up against left handed hitters and will double up on it. Has good pitchability and works to his strengths. Right handed hitter, has a simple and repeatable swing with good direction into contact, good timing and barrel control, flashed some power pulling the ball and has strong hands at contact. Plays first base when not on the mound. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
