Marcus Rivera is a 2022 1B/C, 3B, OF with a 5-11 225 lb. frame from Hayward, CA who attends Moreau Catholic. Recorded a 8.03 second sixty-yard dash time. Large, square shouldered frame with present lower half strength. Primary first baseman with deliberate footwork throughout the fielding process, a slightly deeper funnel and decently quick turns to throw. Recorded online, accurate throws up to 73 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter that hits from an upright, open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and big leg lift trigger. Intent based swing with rotational lower half mechanics and some present bat speed. Pullside approach with developing feel for the barrel and occasional flashes of power. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and better control of his body. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
