Menfis Colon-Viera is a 2025 OF/LHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Altamonte Springs, FL who attends Lake Brantley High School. Medium, athletic frame with present strength throughout frame and additional room to fill. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball and works through it nicely, athleticism plays in actions, longer arm action with present arm speed through back, worked mostly on line to the intended base with carry on throws. Also pitched, nice rhythm to operation while coming down the mound, similar full arm action working up to an over-the-top release point. Filled up the zone working mostly off of his fastball, topped out at 79 mph with some sinking action. Worked fast and velocity built over his two innings, used his curveball as a put away offering with two strikes, up to 67 mph. Left-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a short stride moving into contact. Generates present bat speed through the zone and will continue to improve power with added strength, handsy stroke and looks to lift and leverage the ball at point of contact, comfort working to his pull side. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
