Daniel Troncale is a 2025 C/RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Anaheim Hills, CA who attends Canyon. Recorded a 7.99 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a medium build. Starts from a high stance with even feet behind the plate. Used a short, compact arm action with a quick transfer, delivering accurate throws. Right-handed hitter and starts with a wide base and even feet. Employed good rhythm and a big leg lift to intitiate swing. Creates whip to the barrel with good bat speed. Gets extended out front well when timed up. Produced some loud liners to the pull side gap and swung to do damage. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a methodical leg lift to waist level. Used a short arm action, releasing from a mid-3/4 slot. Topped at 75 with the fastball, featuring some sink. Located to the edges and mixed in a short slider. Also flashed a straight changeup to round out the three-pitch mix.
