Rodney Mudd is a 2023 OF/RHP, MIF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview. Ran a 6.91 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a medium build and athleticism. Fundamentally sound in the outfield with range, agility, and the ability to work through the ball creating clear line to target. Clean actions with the glove, quick transfer, and loose, easy arm that produced throws at 84-mph with accuracy and carry into the infield. Secondary right-handed pitcher who delivers from the middle of the rubber with full windup mechanics. Showcased the ability to load into his lower half, driving down the mound straight to the plate, aiding the control of his repertoire. Fastball at 80-mph with occasional run through the zone. Curveball secondary at 62-mph with developing shape and present depth. Downer bite on occasion created swing-and-miss. Slider at 71-mph with tilt and developing feel. Also worked out in the infield and displayed easy mobility, range, and feel for the glove working through repetition with ease. Throws at 81-mph with carry through the target. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 Southeast Uncommitted Showcase Top Performer List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
