Primary left-handed pitcher moves from a full wind up with a short side step into a belt high leg lift that is well-balanced over his back leg and rides it down the mound with a quick release. He keeps the fastball down in the zone with light cutting action while also topping 82 mph. Smith mixes in a tight breaking ball with good depth out of the same three-quarter arm slot with good rotation. Left-handed hitter steps to the plate showcasing a smooth swing with good bad speed and barrel control as he works the ball to pull side impacting the ball with good force. Tremendous student.
